Just when you thought you had heard the Scottish sensation known as Susan Boyle for the first and last time on American television, the singer is set to take ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" stage next week, reports People.

Boyle made her U.S. debut singing a cover of the Rolling Stones' "Wild Horses" during the finale of "America's Got Talent" in September.

Her brother, John tells the media, "she's excited and happy," to be coming back to the states to perform. "She loves America and loves the people," he says.

The 48-year-old songstress also has a new CD, "I Dreamed A Dream" coming out this month on Tuesday, Nov. 24.

Why would anyone have thought we'd heard Susan Boyle "for the first and last time on American television?" That's crazy.

Anyone who watches tv or is in touch with pop culture had to know she'd be back soon to promote her CD. By the time she performed on America's Got Talent the CD was already an Amazon.com bestseller only on preorders.

Very odd statement.

Odd statement indeed. It has already been publicized that she is scheduled for the Today program in New York later this month and there are will no doubt be other appearances as she does the promotion tour for her album. With the enormous popularity of Susan's album (in case you have been w/o a speck of entertainment news for the last 7 weeks, it has broken all pre order records), it was a given she would be back in the US soon. I would respectfully suggest you give this woman the respect and credit she deserves.

woo kares? suzen boil is a bad sinnger aniway

I love Susan Boyle! I have already pre-ordered my copy of her new CD. I don't watch any of the shows that she is performing on but I'm glad she is being given a proper platform from which to promote her album here in the US. We love her at least as much here as -- if not more than -- they do across the pond.

I agree with Christy above. Why would we think that it was the last time we would see Susan Boyle perform on American television? That would be an inane presumption.

Carol - I forgot about the Today Show! I saw Lester talk about Susan Boyle's upcoming performance. They've been promoting it for a while.

Good for her. She's branching out.

I hope she sings "I Dreamed A Dream." She's so powerful, touching, and at peace when she sings that song.

i think we had enough "I Dreamed a Dream," something new please. nuff said.
