'Saturday Night Live': Andy Samberg loves Reba McEntire

"Saturday Night Live" star Andy Samberg has found a new love -- country singer Reba McEntire. Video below.

Besides Joseph Gordon-Levitt's opening and the Sarah Palin "2012" spoof, the funniest part of "SNL" was a new digital short.

We cannot explain this video. We cannot explain where an idea like "let's have Andy sing a song about being in love with Reba McEntire, who is actually a black man wearing a red wig" comes from. We cannot really explain why it's funny. But it is. Very, very funny.

We sincerely hope "Saturday Night Live" can do a follow-up video that features the real Reba McEntire. She's acted before, we're sure she'd be game. Make it happen, SNL!

well, the opening was actually fairly impressive. funny, not really, but it didn't matter. JG-L's moves were impressive.
the palin 2012 trailer was weak. the beck reference was the only part that brought out a laugh. the rest of it was just kind of ...tired.
the reba short: as soon as andy said it was supposed to be reba i laughed so much. for some reason that was hilarious. it held up for about half the short, but then went got too "he's got a penis, balls, penis, balls, doing a dude." I should've known they were going there though. I'll enjoy the first minute or so though.

the short was awful (mainly the last part). it couldve been so much if they made fun of the actual tv show reba.

Not sure which is worse: the odd digital short or the fact that Zap2it can't spell "Reba"... Hmmm...

That was funny as hell! The digital shorts are fast becoming the best (funniest) part of the show. I don't think it went on too long. It was perfect. As perfect as a skit talking about balls can be. What the show needs is to quickly drop their painfully long political skits. I get second hand embarrassment every time they come on.

Btw, JGL's opening was fun to watch. He did a good job hosting. January Jones, well that's a whole other story....
