Sarah Palin on Katie Couric: 'Badgering,' with a 'partisan agenda'
"Going Rogue: An American Life" is vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin's upcoming memoir -- and it doesn't look kindly upon CBS news anchor Katie Couric.During last year's election, Sarah Palin did a series of interviews with Katie Couric. The interviews were largely regarded as disastrous for the McCain-Palin campaign, as they showed Palin to be an ill-informed, unsuitable candidate for the office of the Vice President.
In "Going Rogue,"(via the Associated Press) Palin fires back at Couric, labeling her interview style as "badgering" and saying that Couric came into the interview with a "partisan agenda." She claims that Couric and CBS left out her more substantive moments and went easier on Democratic candidate for Vice President Joe Biden.
Couric isn't the only news anchor Palin takes a shot at. She also says ABC's Charles Gibson "peered skeptically" at her like a disapproving principal and seemed "bored" with substantive issues from her time as Governor of Alaska.
Do you think Katie Couric was too hard on Sarah Palin? Judge for yourself by watching the video below.

Katie Couric didn't have a issue when Joe Biden told her, on tape, that FDR went on TV to talk to America after the 1929 stock market crash -- when hardly anybody had a TV and FDR wasn't actually president. The ever sharp Couric just let that one sail over her head, so either her knowledge of history is as garbled as Biden's (who, BTW, is currently that much-discussed heartbeat from the presidency) or she had no desire to correct him. That's only one of Biden's endless and ongoing series of gaffes, which the press seem unwilling to correct. Gosh, I wonder why?
them damn badgers always badgering lol
quit your whining lassie.
That interview pretty much ruined her cause she looked so poorly qualified for the job. Too bad her people didn't protect her from this misstep.
my God..what up with Palin?? it's bcoz Katie asked her simple question she can't answer.. Couric actually gave American's a look on how idiot Sarah was
Oh that DAMN DARN katie Couric and that GOTCHA question, "WHAT DO YOU READ?"...Palin wants to be PREZNIT, huh???
Sarah Palin/Fabio 2012!
Joe Biden is like an embarrassing uncle. He's not good at speaking extemporaneously and says goofy, thoughtless things, but he didn't serve in the Senate for 36 years by being stupid in reality. He is similar in that way to President George Herbert Walker Bush (the "senior" George Bush). Pres. Bush could be wildly incoherent and he frequently misspoke unless he stuck scrupulously to prepared remarks and well-rehearsed speeches, but little though I liked him, he was intelligent and knowledgeable. Since he's still with us, I presume he's no different today. He would not have served in so many important positions if he was stupid. Sarah Palin, on the other hand, comes across not only as incoherent, but also as uninformed, if not outright ignorant. I think she may be more intelligent than she appears to be, but she's desperately under-prepared and displays no depth of experience and no deep knowledge of public policy, foreign policy, political issues or anything else. She relies on a limited set of endlessly repeated ideological cliche's and gets by on a wing and a prayer. Nobody since Will Rogers has displayed so much evident "folksiness" and he was way better at it than she is. The ultimate tell that she may not be suited to high public office is her tendency to blame anyone but herself for her evident failings. The whimpering, whining and kvetching ill-becomes her. Little though I like her, I actually think she can do better and I think she needs to start right away.
She did not have a particularly strong showing with Katic Couric, but did not give horrible responses to everything. For example, stating that the government had to be proactive to stave off a depression instead of doing nothing. Her answer about not being able to travel overseas for financial reasons, therefore making a passport irrelevant, was well stated. However she also did have some ridiculous statements, for example implying that Alaska is so important to our Russian intelligence. Not being able to come up with one concrete example of John McCain pushing for more regulation is something that she should be prepared for when going into an interview. The fact is Palin and her party messed up in preparing for these interviews. Instead of accepting fault she passed the blame on the interviewer. If you want to see true media bias watch any liberal being interviewed on Fox news network. Their interviewers interrupt anything they disagree with, ignore anyone who brings up factual data that is opposition to their beliefs, and flat out lie to prove their point. Couric never yelled or countered Palin's responses with her own opinion, she just asked probing questions and for actual evidence of her responses (how dare she.) The liberal media is a hoax created by conservatives to avoid having to give anything except their own unsubstantiated opinions about actual issues.
I never liked Katie Couric. She acts like she's this serious reporter when she spent years doing nothing but inane fluff pieces on the Today Show.
She is and always will be a joke.
But so is Sarah Palin for that matter.
Both should just strip, jump in the mud, duke it out and release all their pent up sexual frustration towards each other.
It's as serious as anyone is ever going to take either of them.
