Clips have been made available of Rihanna's interview with Diane Sawyer set to air later this week on "Good Morning America." Rihanna tells Diane that Chris Brown was her first big love, but that this (the domestic violence) "happened to [her] ... it can happen to anyone."

The 21 year-old singer also tells Glamour, "Domestic violence is a big secret. I want to give as much insight as I can to young women ... to help speak for them." She also says the incident has left her "stronger, wiser and more aware."

Neither interview is solely about the Chris Brown incident, however. Rihanna also addresses growing up in Barbados, auditioning for Jay-Z at Def Jam ("I was nervous as hell!"), her success in fashion and her unique hairstyle.

The "Good Morning America" interview airs Thursday, Nov. 5 at 7 am ET and again on "20/20" Friday, Nov. 6 at 10 pm ET. Glamour's Women of the Year issue is on newsstands now.
