Omarosa clings to spotlight, gets dating show

Former "Apprentice" villain Omarosa Manigault -- remember her? -- is adding another reality-show feather to her cap.

Omarosa, who's done competition shows ("The Apprentice" and its celeb spinoff) and C-list celebrity shows ("The Surreal Life"), is now moving on to that other pillar of the genre: the dating show. She and "Apprentice" host/producer Donald Trump are collaborating on a series for TV One called "Omarosa's Ultimate Merger."

You know the drill: A dozen men will compete for Omarosa's affections through a series of dates and tasks that will test their "business acumen" in addition to their romantic games, with the last guy standing winning the prize that is Omarosa.

"'Omarosa's Ultimate Merger' will be unpredictable, full of drama, and a guilty pleasure to watch," says the cable channel's programming head, Toni Judkins, who gets points for admitting the guilty-pleasure aspect. "We know people like to watch dating shows and the drama within is always a draw, so we expect this series where successful singles match wits in the game of love to be highly fascinating."

Trump will executive produce the series with Andy Litinsky, Bob Horowitz and Lewis Fenton. It will film at the Trump International Hotel and Tower in Las Vegas and is scheduled to premiere in the spring.
