ashleygreene2_twilightnewmoon_290.jpg"Twilight: New Moon" star Ashley Greene may venture into a different branch of the supernatural world with her next movie project.

Greene is in talks to star in a horror film called "The Apparition" for producer Joel Silver. It's about a couple that unleashes a supernatural force during a college experiment and is "inspired by true events," the showbiz trade papers report.

Todd Lincoln is writing and directing the film, which is scheduled to start production in February.

- Bradley Cooper is exploring spooky territory as well with a thriller called "Dark Fields."

The extremely busy "Hangover" star has signed on to star in the film, which is about a down-and-out guy who takes a pill that enables him to use all of his brain, which in turn leads to him amassing wealth and power. There is, of course, a downside -- in addition to bad side effects, sinister characters start chasing him, the trades say. Neil Burger ("The Illusionist") is set to direct.

Cooper adds "Dark Fields" to a slate that also includes "The A-Team" and "Valentine's Day," both of which will be released next year.

- Warner Bros. is planning a live-action/computer-animated movie based on the "Yogi Bear" cartoons, and it's talking to Justin Timberlake, Anna Faris and Dan Aykroyd about starring.

Aykroyd would provide the voice for the smarter-than-average Yogi, and Timberlake would voice Boo-Boo. Faris would appear on screen as a documentary filmmaker working in Jellystone Park. Eric Brevig ("Journey to the Center of the Earth") will direct.
