TwitterNew 'Melrose Place' teaser: Heather Locklear vs. Katie Cassidy, blonde vs. blonde
When Heather Locklear joined the first incarnation of "Melrose Place," she sparked a turnaround in the little-seen show's ratings, propelling it to watercooler status like parent show "Beverly Hills, 90210."
Now there's a new "90210" and a new "Melrose Place," and Locklear is once again being asked to save the show.
We don't know how yet, other than that the actress will return as cold-hearted exec Amanda Woodward, and that she'll storm into WPK and Ella's (Katie Cassidy) life.
Locklear returns to the show Nov. 17. Get a very quick sneak peek:

OK it's official this show is going to rock. Love Heather Locklear and she looks incredible in this...I laughed my a-- off when I watched this. It's just like old Melrose! OOOOOOOH Baby Baby...Can NOT wait!
OMG OMG OMG seriously I already really love this show. It's hot. It's sexy. And now its gonna rock even more. But let's bring Janey back a lil more hello!
god heather is sooo amazing!!!!!!!!!! She will save this show, she HAS to. I can't see it go! She WILL do to this show what she did to the first and that is SAVE it!!!
I like this show too (mostly). I hope Heather makes it even better and increases its ratings (so it doesn't get cancelled).
Though I can't imagine Heather going wrong at all, this had better be as good as they're hyping it. I'm holding my breath until I see it. Of course not literally. But these teasers are really awesome!
Now they've already horribly used (and spit out) Josie Bisset, underused (and spit out) Daphne Zuniga. And each week they underuse poor (unfortunately dead) Laura Leighton.
So they had better..BETTER(!) use Ms. Locklear to the fullest of her potential and keep her front & center for the gold mine that she is to MP.
Also, I like some of the new characters...Keep Ella as i'm loving Katie Cassidy after initially hating her 'Amanda' gestures, but she really shined last week and is slowly making Ella her own and not an Amanda clone as she did earlier in the season.
Lauren, Riley, & Jonah I like very much too...and of course please never let go of the great Michael Mancini!
I also find the cop that interrogates everyone strangely interesting...I wouldn't mind seeing more of him after the Sydney story is over....
But wouldn't it be really cool is if that cop is in cahoots with an alive Sydney?!
Oh, and one more thing...have Amanda buy back the apartment building from Jane since she apparently isn't going to be making any more appearances.

i think heather might bring in the ratings for a little while, but then the hype will wear off.
amanda cant be on screen for the whole hour. thats whats going to bring the show back down.
even heather cant save bad writing and bad acting.
its clear that amanda is the queen ***** and ella just learn how to be jajajaja
