Miley Cyrus won't go see 'Twilight: New Moon'
There's one less human teen for "Twilight's" vampires and werewolves to fight over.
After a concert in Cleveland, "Hannah Montana" star Miley Cyrus told an interviewer from a local radio station that she hasn't seen the first movie and doesn't plan on catching any future installments.
"I don't believe in it," Miley told Q92 reporter Nikolina. "I don't like vampires. I don't like the wolf that pops out of the screen when I'm watching my TV at night. I don't like it. I don't want anything to do with it. I don't like the shirts. I don't like any of it."
Cyrus isn't totally out of touch with Hollywood: She recently filmed a cameo for "Sex and the City 2."

miley cyrus doesn't like it because it means SHE'S NOT THE ONLY THING THAT DRAWS YOUNG AUDIENCES TO CONSUME ENTERTAINMENT. i will praise God when her 15 minutes are up.

I honestly think that the reason why this excuse of a "rock star" doesn't like Twilight is simply because she wasn't chosen for the cast. Oh, go cry me a river. Or, in the immortal words of Mean Girls: "Boo, you *****!"
You guys, she has always said that she is a avid Christian. So of course she isn't going to like vampires and demonish things. I think it is fine, that she doesn't like it and that she is honest about it.

Re: Joy's comments on here, her reply/post... Joy, I'm Christian too (very much so... LDS) and I have no problems at all with vampires, werewolves, Harry Potter and the wizarding world etc. It's just fiction, it's not a sin to read or watch it. It's not "evil". And I doubt I'm the only "good" and practicing Christian who feels the same way.
The big question here is: Why is this news? Why should anyone care if Miley plans to see a certain movie or not?
It's not the fact that she doesn't like the twilight series, it's the fact that she finds it necessary to make a point of telling people that she doesn't like it. And, if she is such an avid christian, what is she doing shooting provocative photo shoots and appearing in a cameo for sex in the city? SAC is definitely not a show w/christian based morals. Picking and choosing which values of your religion to abide by and which to ignore are not qualities that she should be highlighting to the press, they're something she should be ashamed of and working on correcting. Nobody's perfect but I just dont believe she really dislikes the genre. I think she is kinda jealous and trying to ***** up the spot light some more.
