'Melrose Place': The return of Amanda Woodward? Ehhh

heatherlocklear1.jpgIt was the night of television that longtime "Melrose Place" fans had been waiting for, but...

I mean, Heather Locklear looks pretty good. And, yeah, I want to know what it is that posthumous Sydney is taunting her with, but I don't think her arrival was all that compelling.

The highlight of last night for me? The previews for next Monday (er, actually it's December 1st that the show is back).

Do you disagree?

And if so, can you speak on exactly what you found so great?

I thought having Amanda on the show was GREAT. And I must state that I was too young to watch the original, but I do know about the legacy she holds.

She added fire, a spark to an otherwise dull show. It was great to see Ella's dream's crushed (isn't as bad as it sounds), she's gone from wanting to be Amanda to wanting to destroy her.

Yes, disappointing like so much other stuff

I couldn't agree more with this.
While it's awesome to have Amanda back, it was still such a so-so, boring, lackluster episode that Locklear's presence just magnified just how mediocre everything else here is compared to her.

I also 100% agree that the next episode (Dec 1) looks way better than this was and i'm so looking forward to seeing Amanda interact with the rest of the cast.

Sydney's letter was intriguing---yet it also made no sense.
If she lived in the apt, why the heck would she leave a note to Amanda in her empty safe unless she knew she was vacating the apt quickly?

I doubt the writers are this clever, but most likely Sydney wasn't aware she was going to die---so this leaves me to believe that she faked her own death yet again.

Otherwise, there's really no reason to leave a note like that to Amanda in her safe.

Then again, maybe i'm just too smart for this show and need to turn my brain off.

So, first and foremost that was Heather Locklear but that wasn't Amanda. I watched the OG Melrose and she didn't even sound like amanda...i get it, she aged and is mature or whatever now but she sounded like grown-up Ella and also Ella totally outshined her.

Overall I was really really let down by this. I was expecting so much more from the return of Amanda. The ***** was most def. not back....

sigh...

Korbi, make your bed please! haha.

Heather was awesome as she always is..Now the return of an ALIVE Sydney..and we would have must see tv

Heather Locklear raised the bar on MP. The show sucked before she showed up. It was a bunch of plasticky looking fashionista desperately in need of an acting class. Locklear looked amazing and brought it to the show. The only thing wrong was she wasn't on enough. Can't believe we have to wait 2 weeks for the next EP. That is dumb.

I don't waste my time watching this show.
