Jonas Brothers keeps Disney Channel jonesing for Season 2
There's not enough Jonas, so Disney Channel is going to fix that. The cable network has ordered a second season of the pop stars' comedy series "Jonas" and their reality series "Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The new season of "Jonas" will start production in February under two new executive producers: showrunner Lester Lewis ("The Office," "The Larry Sanders Show") and director Paul Hoen, who's directed Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas in an episode of their show and in the upcoming sequel "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam."
The new season will focus on the brothers' summer vacation in Los Angeles and their landing a show business gig.
Hopefully, the new EPs will make a difference. Although "Jonas" has pulled in decent numbers for Disney, their ratings don't even come close to the channel's ratings hit "Hannah Montana."
The Jonii are currently on the European leg of their world concert tour.
