Jon Gosselin 'cries' whenever Hailey Glassman tries to leave

Jon Gosselin is finding that the breakdown of his marriage is just one of his relationship problems.

The former "Jon & Kate Plus 8" dad and his post-Kate squeeze Hailey Glassman discuss the state of their unhappy dating life in a joint interview with "Entertainment Tonight" airing Wednesday, reports Us.

Their supposed "soul mate" relationship has been rocky for a while, but Glassman admits that every time she tries to leave him, "he cries."

"As hard as it is for us, he needs to go handle his stuff, be with his family and handle his divorce, and I need to go and be a 22-year-old and get my life back," she says.

Apparently, Jon agrees. "We're going to take a break and decide," he says.

During the interview, Gosselin gets upset about the public nature of their fight. "I wanted to discuss this in private, but now it's public," he grouses.

Um, yeah. We've heard that before. Perhaps you should have thought of that before going on TV to discuss your relationship?

Later, when the discussion gets ugly, instead of facing facts, he escapes. "I'm not talking about this," says Jon before walking out.
