Jennifer Lopez falls at the AMAS, recoups quickly
Jennifer Lopez is another celebrity who found the American Music Awards to be a treacherous place.J.Lo found herself on her famously lush bottom during her Sunday night performance of "Louboutins," the first single off her new album "Love?"
Well, it seems that unlike the song's lyrics "I'm throwing on my Louboutins," Lopez was falling in her Louboutins. During a portion of the dance in which she walked on the backs of her male dancers who created a stair-step formation, she was helped off the highest "step," leaping to the stage below.
Unfortunately, she didn't land on her feet, but on her bottom. Lopez, the pro that she is, popped up immediately and went straight into a diva-worthy solo dance. Very impressive.
Check out J.Lo's performance and her tiny slip-up around the 2:40 mark:
Here's just the fall and her solo dance after if you don't feel like fast forwarding.
"American Idol" runner-up Adam Lambert also had a fall, but his was a bit more spectacular, rolling into his backup dancer.

She is so lame and so old, go back to nursing ur twins! The music career (that was a gimmick to begin with) is over!
I loved Jlo. She proved to be a true champion. As she entered the ring with the Will Smith sample (from the movie "Ali")"The Champ is Here, The Champ is Hereâ€, to the famous referee from the historic Ali championship bouts shouting "Lets Get Ready To Rumble" She came out swinging, not afraid to take some risk with her high flying leap off of her dancer. In true Muhammad Ali fashion, when she fell down she quickly got right back up and (in my opinion) scored a knock-out. Like I said, the referee said "Let’s get ready to Rumble" and her fall made the statement" When life gets "Rough & Tumble you have
to get "Tough and Rumble". Jennifer Lopez is Back!!!!!
Ha ha ha that was one of the best parts of the show. Her falling down trying to do a lame dance move and compete with people half her age. Good thing she has a fat arse to comfort the fall.
FAT!... JLO is hot and has a body of a real woman. She is a very talented performer, Whitney needs to learn a few things from her.
I loved JLO's performance and I think she showed such poise and grace after falling. She made a little slip up, like we all do at some point in our lives, and she went on with it! Unlike most of us, though, JLO has to endure the criticism of the entire world for being human and slipping...cut her some slack! Would you want your embarrassing moment spread across the billboards? I didn't think so.
seems like her booty made her bounce right back up lol. Was it just me or did her singing seem too good hmmm.
Let's get ready to TUMBLE.
"Let's Get Ready to Rumble" is Michael Buffer. Great announcer but not THE announcer for Ali's fights. Buffer has been the premiere announcer for boxing/pro wrestling only since the 80's and 90's. Still appropriate announcer for JLo since her best "matches" were also fixed and she too has stayed around long after her "skills" had faded.
I'm with you Rebecca. She fell, and jumped right back up and kept on performing. That's pretty impressive. I don't love the song, but I give her props for her ability to quickly recover.
Bad song and she just looked silly in this performance. Thinks she is the same as 10 years ago, but she is not. Even her style was not evolved, just seemed awkward and outdated. As far as the stumble, i give her credit for getting right up and just keeping on going.
