'House': Orlando Jones joins the family
Foreman fans have something to look forward to during February sweeps.House's long-time minion will take center-stage for an upcoming storyline that introduces his estranged brother, played by Orlando Jones.
FOX confirms that Jones will portray Foreman's sibling, who -- as was mentioned on the series previously -- is in prison.
The two will reunite just as he's up for parole... which should make for an interesting episode, sure. But come on, does the show's only black doctor really have to have a bro behind bars?

Good to hear this, I love Orlando Jones. I know he's done quite a bit of tv and all, but I still think he is an underrated actor.
>"the show's only black doctor"
Kinda, sorta, but not really. There was also Dr. Cole aka "Big Love" (played by Edi Gathegi) who they really should bring back, especially since, with Amber and Kutner dead, he's the last surviving member of the final fellowship candidates. Plus, the reason he was cut had nothing to do with medicine; it was because he sided with Cuddy, i.e. against House.
Foreman having a brother in prison shouldn't be a surprise. Foreman had his run-ins with the law which is why House hired him!
i'll watch but COME ON DOES THE BROTHER ALWAYS HAVE TO BE IN JAIL. ESPECIALLY THE IVY LEAGUE LOOKING ONES!! HOUSE DON"T BE LAME

Let the insensitivity commence!
As Bren 36 said, Foreman was in a gang as a teenager. It's not uncommon for one child to get out and the rest stay in with the inevitable consequence of jail.
Stop already with everything being about race . It's just a TV show. Believe it or not, Blacks, as well as Whites and Hispanics and Indians etc. are in prison. Accept it.
They needed to cast Mike Tomlin as Foreman's brother. He's the coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
