'General Hospital': New look at James Franco

James Franco is coming to Port Charles in less than two weeks. We've got another look at his guest-starring stint on "General Hospital." Apparently James Franco is joining the "General Hospital" cast on Nov. 20 to play... wait for it... Franco, a mystery man who "comes to Port Charles and will be intertwined with many other residents in town."
The network is keeping most of the specific details about "Franco" under wraps, but ABC does say that he's determined to make Jason's (Steve Burton) life "a living hell."
Pictured with Franco above are Kirsten Storms (Maxie) and Maurice Benard (Sonny). "General Hospital" airs daily on ABC.

Franco with Maxie and Sonny...Why not it could be fun..maybe GH will be finally watchable..interesting
GH won't be watchable again until Sunny is off the show. Until then we loyal viwers are stuck with "The Sopranos: Port Charles Edition". Sad.
Yeah, Susan Lucci is 45. 18 years ago. She's 63 and looks WELL past 30.
People who want the mob to leave GH are watching the wrong soap. The mob has been a part of GH since the Luke and Laura days with Frank Smith. GH has been great, but if constant affairs and deception are preferred, there are several other soaps to choose from out there.
GH is my favorite because it's not like the other soaps. If I wanted the usual, I'd watch the other soaps. GH has all the romance, drama, mystery, love, etc., that a soap requires, but it also has the mob and shoot outs, which I also love.
I love the idea of Franco with Sonny in a scene, and I can't wait for Franco's scenes with Jason too. Bring it on.
Yes the mob has been a part of General Hospital since the L&L days but that was when they need the meaning of "balance" now its all mob all the time. As for the Luke and Laura triangle thing well Laura is no longer on the show and they've stated they didnt want her.
Days is so much better than GH though..James Franco's acting face James Scott(Ej) would be delicious..but Franco via his manager has chosen GH..c'est la vie ! lol
James Franco will be good with Sonny,Jason, and Luke..Sounds exciting I'll be watching!!
DOOL sucks right now. the only thing they do is romance storylines. what would franco being doing on that soap? he would have no chemistry with anyone on there. GH is a much better fit because it's mostly action oriented. jaosn/sonny. the mob...plus they have more interesting characters. DOOL is plain lame.

Since GH has been tanking I guess this will temporarily give them the spike they need..unfortunately if the other storylines aren't as good as Franco's obviously will be when he's gone people won't tune back in. And his media attention while highlight the other stories as well...

I think this is what is the scariest of all Franco in the hands of a hack writer.
