'Family Guy': 'Empire Strikes Back' parody on DVD first
The second part of "Family Guy's" "Star Wars" trilogy arrives in December. But you'll have to pay to see it.Seth MacFarlane and Co. will release "Something, Something, Something Dark Side" -- their take on "The Empire Strikes Back" -- on Dec. 22. But rather than premiering on FOX on a Sunday night, as the show's "A New Hope" parody "Blue Harvest" did a couple years ago, "Dark Side" will go first to DVD and Blu-Ray. (It's available on Amazon for pre-ordering, should you want to gather 'round the fire on Christmas Eve to watch it.)
FOX is planning to air the episode later in the season, but an airdate hasn't been set. "Family Guy" has gone the direct-to-DVD route before, releasing "Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story" in the fall of 2005 before airing modified versions of the three segments in May 2006.
"Something, Something, Something Dark Side" will have the Griffin family reprising their roles from "Blue Harvest," with Peter as Han Solo, Chris as Luke Skywalker, Lois as Leia, Quagmire as C3PO, Brian as Chewbacca and Stewie as Darth Vader. Take a look at the trailer:

So funny hahahaha
"...releasing "Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story" in the fall of 2005 before airing modified versions..."
You can't imagine how angry I was after paying for something that ended up on TV immediately afterward. I had no idea it was coming to TV - they definitely didn't let anyone know that.
