Ellen DeGeneres: Dancing as an elf? Paging 'American Idol's' image consultants!

The newly minted "American Idol" judge Ellen DeGeneres has become a break-dancing elf -- and she dragged wife Portia de Rossi, mother Betty and DJ Tony into it.

Do we think DeGeneres consulted the "American Idol" publicity crew before she decided to don an elf outfit and break-dance with three of her buddies? We've got video below Ellen and crew; the Elf Yourself part starts around the 2:30 mark.



Actually, we think it's kind of cool that Ellen did this. Elf Yourself is an hilarious website to get your friends and family in the holiday spirit. All you do is submit pictures of the four people you want to "elf" and the website does the rest. The best Elf Yourself dances we've seen involved professors. You haven't lived until you've seen your Constitutional Law professor break-dance in an elf costume.
