'Ellen DeGeneres': 'American Idol' Kris Allen talks Adam Lambert, wife Katy
Kris Allen hit "The Ellen Degeneres Show" on Tuesday (Nov. 24) to perform his single "Live Like We're Dying" and to promote his self-titled debut album as well.
The most recent "American Idol" winner talked about going on tour to do some Christmas shows and about being able to bring Katy, his wife of one year, on the bus with him. Due to "Idol" rules she wasn't allowed that kind of access during the show tour, so the couple is looking forward to finally making their own decisions on the road.
If Allen is trying to perpetuate his good-guy-next-door persona, he did a stand up job, saying to DeGeneres regarding his decision to marry so young, "I just knew ... If you know, you know. I didn't want to try anything else."
As for the other all-important relationship in his life --you know, the one between him and "AI" runner-up Adam Lambert -- Allen laughed about their connection and spoke of their clear differences too.

To Rena: Um, yeah. He didn't say that. AT ALL. He said "you can't compare us musically" because their music styles are so different. It's like comparing Lady Gaga to Jason Mraz.
OK I didn't catch the "in our lives" at first, but nothing he's ever done or said has suggested that he has even had a tiny bit of issue with anyone being gay. Their lives ARE totally different, and it has nothing to do with their sexuality. It's so tiring to see people trying to make everything a battlefield between them. They're good friends.

I agree with Kris Allen and I adore Kris Allen and Katy Too. The two are so beautiful. However when they match the fool Madam Lambert with Kris Allen its so sickening. Kris Allen is quality and Madam is pure trash. Madam had his chance and blew it in more ways then one. Madams last note on the AMA awards was the worst the industry ever saw and they all puked. I am sorry I ever wrote a bad thing about Kris. I guess I was as sick as Madam Opera singer. Madam has no Class, just look at his fat face.
