susanboyle_americasgottalent_finale_290.jpgDear Susan Boyle -- We love a good Cinderella story when we hear it, but must we hear it over and over and over again the same exact way?

Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle appeared on the "Dancing With the Stars" results show Tuesday night to promote her new album. Guess what she sang?

Yup, "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Miserables. Go figure.

Look, we think that's a great song, it showcases her obvious talents and she performs it beautifully. There's also the nostalgia/symbolism factor since that was the first song she sang on "Britain's Got Talent," surprising the judges and everyone with access to YouTube.

We'd just like to hear something else for a change. Sure, she doesn't want to perform all her songs before her album drops on Nov. 23, but she'd already proven that she could change it up with her take on "Wild Horses" on the "America's Got Talent" finale. How about doing that song?

At least one thing was different: We were treated to a lovely dance by Tony Dovolani and Chelsie Hightower during Boyle's performance. That was a highlight.

Is "I Dreamed a Dream" as potent as ever for you? Are you ready to hear something/someone else?

shes a bad sinnger sounds very forsed and fayke and allways sings the saim song

In other news, a bean was dropped in a mexican restaurant!

Maybe she should have sung one of her other songs, but "the same exact way"? She sang a completely different version.

Actually, this was a very different version of the song. Much slower, and with a different type of singing - she used a "head" voice instead of a "chest/broadway" voice. So, we didn't hear it the same way at all. Even the key was different.

I loved it, and I think she was limited by needing to have something they could dance to. They couldn't dance to Wild Horses.

Nope, I don't want to hear anybody else! I love Susan. I love Susan's singing, and I love all her songs including "I Dreamed a Dream" which she sang very differently from her audition.

I could listen to Susan sing that song every day and not tire of it. I would also like to comment that if Sharon Osborne cannot see the beauty in Susan Boyle, then she shouldn't be judging anything. There is more to admire in life than a pretty face.

I would have liked a different song, but DWTS seemed happy to have the first American TV performance of "I Dreamed a Dream", so good for them. As it was, Susan gave a very good performance, so good for her.

I never get tired of hearing Susan nobody does it better. I liked the first version of I Dreamed a Dream better but I think this worked better for the dance. With a voice of an angel she cant go wrong for me. I cant wait to get her album and see more of her. Sharon Osborne was a big disappointment, saying more about herself than Susan.

Obviously a article written by a twenty year old whiner.
Michael for how long he's sang over the years is to me overrated.

I just heard her and she is great. Good job Susan from Maui all my suport
