Twitter'Cougar Town' back to business, tweets Busy Philipps
All the concerned chatter about "Cougar Town" shutting down production because of a serious family matter Courteney Cox had to tend to? Kind of over the top.
Cox's co-star Busy Philipps let fans know via Twitter that the ABC comedy was only dark for one day (Friday, Nov. 20) and that shooting will resume after Thanksgiving.
A show insider confirms the report and says that a hiatus was always scheduled for this week.
Cast and crew were informed of their unexpected day off last Thursday afternoon, though the details of Cox's personal matter were not disclosed.
Thankfully, the situation does not seem to be making much of a dent in production.
Jules and friends will be back with a new episode on Wednesday and won't really miss a beat.

For once I agree with MEOW.
Some celebrities will do anything just for a little media attention.
Which celebrities did something for media attention?
The press made the story sound more serious than it was. No celebrities did.
Well Ken, Cox obviously gave instructions for her reps to give out those cryptic explanations to the media.
Otherwise, one day off for production of her show (or any show for that matter) wouldn't really generate any attention...unless Cox specifically chose to give out information to the media.
I mean, she could have simply taken a day off work like us normal people do instead of having her reps mention to the media about her "private family matter" and everything shutting down.

But she could have just as well dealt with whatever it was quietly instead of sending out cryptic messages to media about "private family matters"?
I mean really, isn't that what "private" means? You keep it to yourself.
...Unless of course you're a celebrity purposely trying to pique the curiousity of media.
I have been thinking alot about busy, since I have been extra busy of late. It's a good busy, a busy that serves my nature and working towards a potential that not only is me, but helps others.
