'Chuck's Yvonne Strahovski goes straight to DVD for 'The Canyon'

Can't wait any longer for your favorite bumbling wanna-be spy and his ridiculously hot bodyguard?

Well, too bad. "Chuck" still won't be back until March. Co-star Yvonne Strahovski, though, could be in your hands as early as Nov. 17.

Strahovski co-stars in "The Canyon," a straight-to-DVD survival thriller whose concept sounds a lot like "Open Water" ... but, you know, in the Grand Canyon and presumably with fewer sharks. Or, better, like "The Descent" but above ground and presumably with fewer feral mutants.

In a nutshell, Strahovski's city-folk character and hubby Eion Bailey hire an off-the-books guide to explore the Grand Canyon. Guide is bitten by a snake, so the yuppies must survive and find rescue.
