Chris Brown tapes '20/20' interview

Chris Brown will discuss his assault of Rihanna in an interview on ABC's "20/20" in December.

The singer, who pleaded guilty in June to assaulting his then-girlfriend and is currently serving probation for the crime, will appear on the newsmagazine on Dec. 11. "Good Morning America's" Robin Roberts taped what's being called an "in-depth" interview with Brown last weekend, the AP reports.

Clips from the interview may also run on "GMA," an ABC spokesman says. Brown has an album, "Graffiti," due for release Dec. 8, and there have also been reports that he would perform on the morning show to promote the record's release.

Brown has done several interviews since his guilty plea, sitting with Larry King shortly after the case wrapped up and earlier this month on MTV News. Rihanna also appeared on "20/20" in November, sitting for an interview with Diane Sawyer.

Sure, they let Chris Brown perform on GMA, but not Adam Lambert. Clearly it is okay to beat up your girlfriend, but not to be gay. Nice.
