'Burn Notice,' 'Psych' get January dates
USA will shake up its original series slate a little bit in January as both "White Collar" and "Psych" will move to new nights."Burn Notice" also has an official return date, though it's staying put on Thursday nights.
The cable channel's winter slate ill kick off on Jan. 19 when "White Collar" moves from Friday to Tuesday. The back half of "Burn Notice's" third season will debut Thursday, Jan. 21.
"Psych," which has aired on Fridays for much of its life, will move to Wednesday nights beginning Jan. 27. That will give USA three consecutive nights of original series. (And at least a portion of the NBC Universal empire will have scripted dramas at 10 p.m. ET.)
"White Collar" will continue to air on Fridays for the next couple of weeks, paired with the final episodes of "Monk."

White Collar is cool but I've missed the last couple shows. Never seen Psych but it looks funny.
But Burn Notice rules. That show is awesome!
NBC sucks but at least they get USA right.
Why is every show suddenly moving to Tuesday nights??? First Lost, then Glee, and now White Collar. I don't want to have to play Sophie's Choice with my favorite TV shows. TV programmers SUCK.
I'm glad that Burn Notice is coming back soon, though.
I think this will be the last season for Psych. They didn't renew it until recently. They picked up the other series alot earlier and there's no Christmas episode this year.
Rachel, that is just how USA does things, they usual wait until just before the second half of the current season starts before giving the show another season. They announced a fourth season of Burn Notice right around the same time as Psych. With Monk gone now, I don't think any of the current shows will be going anywhere anytime soon (at least I am hoping not).
yeah psych's the best show on tv right now, its not going nowhere
Chad- the nice thing about the shows on USA is they replay the episode later the same night so if you are recording it, you can always catch that later episode. That's usually what I do with any of the shows on USA.
So glad Psych is coming back. Love that show. James Roday is pretty damned funny.
psych is the best show around by a mile, shawn and gus rule
Well, as for Psych, this seems like the first step all the other dead shows took. Get a show that does well on one night, then try to pull its audience to some other night. Psych is good, and it may work, but it definitely isn't a good omen for the show.
