Barbara Walters confirms Adam Lambert is one of her 10 most fascinating
As was rumored early last week, "American Idol" runner-up Adam Lambert will indeed be one of Barbara Walters' 10 Most Fascinating People of 2009.
Walters confirmed his invitation on Monday's (Nov. 30) episode of "The View," though the poster below seems to confirm several of the annual special's other subjects as well: Lady Gaga, Tyler Perry, Sarah Palin, Brett Favre, Kate Gosselin and Glenn Beck.
We haven't yet received word from ABC on whether or not the poster is official. However, even if it is and this list is in fact accurate, that still leaves three open spots.
Any thoughts on who will fill them?
"Barbara Walters Presents The 10 Most Fascinating People" will air Dec. 9.

Barbara, I hope you have seen & heard ALL of Adam's fabulous interviews, videos, songs, going way back. Adam is an incredible person, smart, out of this world talented (his range is highly unusual), and has charisma like no other. I hope you will be fair in your interview and bring out the best in Adam, because he has been misrepresented in the press. We're counting on you Barbara!
I don't think Adam has been misrepresented in the press. They reported exactly what he did on the AMA - that's it. It was his intention to shock but unfortunately he took it to the extreme and many, many people did not like it. I think Adam is a great singer but I did not like it. Let's be honest.
Kate Gosselin!!! Give me a break! I'm sure there were other people who a lot more fascinating than Kate Gosselin. Barbara Walters I am disappointed.
No wonder I don't tune into Babs specials on the most interesting any longer. KateGosselin, Gaga, Glambert, and Favre all make the cut? Why not just add Tyra too?

Tyler Perry is a great pick, as is Adam Lambert. Sarah Palin is a year late, but apparently she has a book to promote. Glen Beck, I don't get at all. What about pilot Chelsea "Sully" Sullenberger, Michele Obama, or the guys who started Twitter? There is also Stephenie Meyers, the author of all the Twilight books, which have sold tens of millions of copies and started the whole vampire trend, as well as Robert Pattinson, the actor who plays vampire Edward Cullen. But haven't we all seen and heard enough from Kate Gosselin????

at least she's having on Adam Lambert. but, i'm sure i'll just be skipping this show altogether. can't stand BABS, she's sooooooo OVERRATED.
