'American Idol's Simon Cowell will make Susan Boyle documentary
When can we wake from this "Dream?"
"American Idol" judge and co-creator Simon Cowell has signed on to produce a quickie documentary about British singer Susan Boyle titled -- no surprise here -- "I Dreamed a Dream: The Susan Boyle Story."
Don't get us wrong, the singer's story is still pretty nifty: The frumpy, seemingly unpolished Boyle totally shocked "Britain's Got Talent" judges in January 2009 with a beautiful rendition of "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Miserables.
Since then, though, Boyle has clung to the song with an amazing kung-fu grip. Sure, her album ostensibly has other songs on it, but what does she sing in every single public appearance? "I Dreamed a Dream." The documentary will, yes, feature Boyle singing "Dream."
Wake us when she branches out.
"I Dreamed a Dream: The Susan Boyle Story" is set to air Dec. 13 on the TV Guide Network.

WE LOVED SUSANS NEW CD I DREAMED A DREAM" WE WISH HER ALL THE SUCCESS IN THE WORLD. SHE DESERVES A BREAK.....HELP HER OUT AND BUY THE CD....A REAL BARGIN AT TARGET!!!!!
It's a pity there are such begrudging people in the world. If the truth be known. those people criticizing her and hiding behind the internet, are probably fat, ugly, jealous people. Lighten up and get a life and let other people be themselves.
@Sylvia, lets face it the woman only made it because of pity. She is not a good singer at all.
I just cannot believe some of these comments. Can only imagine you are jealous because she CAN sing and she HAS made an impact. Susan certainly deserves this break - I wish her the very best of luck. Comparing Susan to Celine Dion is an insult to Susan - I come from Quebec too..........
I listened to her album and she really can sing. Not my favorite album, she is still new in this recording business and I don't think she'll become more popular than this, but she's got some talent.
I love how Susan goes on despite all the ridicule and insults. She could have taken these attacks to heart and given up...but no she moves forward and sings her heart out and we love her for that. You go girl.
where have you been? Susan's first appearance in the US was on America's Got Talent where she sang "Wild Horses". on the Today show on Nov. 23 she sang 3 songs. it's true that on the BGT tour she only sang IDAD, I presume because that's what she was told to do. and it remains her signature tune. her cd contains 12 songs.
NOT true. She has sung her first official single, "Wild Horses", on several TV shows.
Shove some C-O-C-K in her mouth it will shut her up and cover that FUG face of hers.
When people go see Susan, they would be pissed if she did not sing IDAD. It would not be smart for her not to sing it yet. I have heard her sing 4 or 5 other songs on TV tho.
