'American Idol's' Adam Lambert to GMA: I'm headed to CBS' 'The Early Show'

CBS does not have the same qualms as ABC -- Adam Lambert has been slotted in at "The Early Show" for Wednesday, Nov. 25.Lambert has confirmed to ETOnline that he will now be appearing on CBS morning program "The Early Show," where he'll perform live and also discuss his controversial performance on the American Music Awards Sunday night.
Some people were commenting earlier today that Adam Lambert's AMA shenanigans have killed his career right out of the gate, but it looks like he's doing just fine now. What ABC won't air, CBS is happy to pick up. So now Adam gets to perform anyway AND has gotten all this publicity about his appearance. Seems like he's come out pretty good today.

Funny how people who claim to be open-minded use words like pathetic, c*u*n*t* and b*i*t*c*h to describe those with whom they disagree. I consider the C word to be one of most vulgar and unnecessary in the English language. The best way to destroy your own argument, Josh and Anonymous, is to employ the same tactics used by the other side (as in, name-calling).
I think ABC was cowardly, for sure, but that's it. Considering CBS is the lowest-rated of the three morning shows, I'm not sure Lambert's appearing on it is that much of a victory, really. He should try getting on The View.

I like Adam but his performance on the AMA's was completely inappropriate. Children were watching the show. I'm an adult who is not a prude but I don't want to watch that kind of behavior. I don't agree with ABC cancelling unless they couldn't get him to agree to behave.
Hopefully Adam will perform a different song than what he did on the AMAs. That song was horrible. Maybe if his song was better and he showed a bit of modesty during his performance, his crotch-shoving wouldn't have been so talked about. He needs to stop acting like he's "all that." I have loved Adam from day one and I don't want him to make me lose my love.

Lambert is well on the way to a situation like Elvis Costello had with Saturday Night Live & NBC. Best play it straight on CBS, in other words.
I have to laugh at people that think he killed his career. There would be no music industry if all it took was one bad performance. ABC blew it big. They could have had the first post AMA interview with Adam but instead their rival had it, so yeah people will be tuning in to see him sing and hear what he has to say. Point for CBS.
