'American Idol' winner Kris Allen: Debut album, TV appearances

In all the "Twilight: New Moon" pageantry, let's not forget that "American Idol" winner Kris Allen's self-titled debut album drops at midnight.

Nov. 17 is the official release date for "Kris Allen," the eponymous debut of the "American Idol" winner. Did you pre-order your copy on iTunes? If you did, you'll receive a special bonus track called "From the Ashes." It's not too late to pre-order!

According to the Log Cabin Democrat, if you live anywhere near Conway, Arkansas there are several midnight release parties you could attend to celebrate the album's release.

Finally, Kris Allen is making the TV rounds all week:

• Nov. 17: "Good Morning America" Fall Concert series
• Nov. 17: "It's On With Alexa Chung"
• Nov. 18: "Live With Regis And Kelly"
• Nov. 21: VH1's "Top 20 Countdown"
• Nov. 23: "The Ellen DeGeneres Show"

Kris will also be presenting an award at the American Music Awards, broadcast live on ABC on Sunday, Nov. 22 at 8 pm ET. So tune in to see Kris and a variety of other "American Idol" alums!
