Concert-goers in Salt Lake City got a surprise treat Tuesday night -- "American Idol" finalist David Archuleta sang "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" with his mom Lupe. Video below.Guess we know where Little Archie got his singing talent from. His mom can sing too! Lupe joined her son onstage, looking gorgeous in a white gown, and they turned the old standard "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" into a beautiful and poignant duet.
Considering all the trouble the Archuleta family has had with his father, we're glad to see Archie has someone in his life. It really is a beautiful piece.

David is MY idol and always will be. Buy his Christmas From The Heart cd -it is exceptional (as is David!!).
I was at the ll/24/09 Salt Lake City, Utah concert and saw David and his mother sing "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas". It was so sweet & emotional. The entire concert was amazing! David is a fantastic talent!! If you haven't purchased David's Christmas cd "Christmas From The Heart", you buy it. It is one of the best Christmas cd's I have ever heard!!
