'American Idol' Adam Lambert's AMAs performance not so scandalous
Former "American Idol" star Adam Lambert seemed determined to outdo American Music Awards opener Janet Jackson. Apparently, though, acting like a boob doesn't compare to baring one.
Despite a closing performance that featured man-on-man smooching, a simulated sex act and one unplanned tumble, ABC tells USA Today the network only received around 1,500 complaints. CBS, meanwhile, reportedly received more than half a million complaints when Janet's breast was accidentally revealed during a Super Bowl halftime performance a.k.a. "Nipplegate."
Lambert has said his same-sex kiss wasn't planned, and that his, uh, exuberant performance was the result of an adrenaline surge.

I was really pulling for the guy. But this was just plan ridiculous. Just sing..you have to voice. It was not just one or two moments of "acts" the whole thing was about sex. Hey I like sex as much as the next guy but damn there were a lot of little AI fans watching...but he got what he wanted..I won't be following his career anymore.
Adam better not have any plans performing in the Super Bowl in Feburary.
He's just a bad person and should be ashamed of himself.
Give. Me. A. FREAKING. Break. A "bad person?" That's a gutsy statement to form about a guy when he was singing and acting out the LYRICS to ONE SONG.

You cry-babies act like he showed his naked body on stage--oh, wait. That was Rihanna! But she's a chick, so that's okay, right?
The man looked hot, moved like a pro, recovered amazingly from a tumble and did it all while singing live--NOT using canned voice tracks. That was probably his only mistake, since the vocals suffered 'a tiny bit.'
But the most notable result of last night's performance is that, today, his name is on EVERY-ONE's lips--and before you say "yeah, but bad talk is just bad talk", speak with an advertising professional. Adam has received more buzz, more publicity, than he could EVER afford to buy.
Ignore them, Adam. You kicked what Jenny fell on. Bingo!
Just 1500 complaints probably only 2000 viewers left by the time it was over.

I'm sure Adam knows that "there is no such thing as bad press." He wasn't my favorite but he certainly was not boring though. The Grammys will be on CBS, will they invite him to perform? I'm thinking he'll be relegated to presenting.

Adam, you are loved and respected by so many people, of every age, you don't have to do this way over the top sex stuff Use classy sexual style, and they will fall all over you. You are to good at what you do don't lower yourself to this level, it isn't necessary. You have been blessed by this beautiful,sexy voice. Along with looks that go with it. Remember alot young people are watching you, looking up to you, want to be like you. Don't lock yourself into one style, you can do it all, you could be this generations Elvis Presley, BUT BETTER, with a style all your own, with a reaction at the end of your performance of not controversy but unbelieveable amazement that anyone could have that much talent and style Thank about it..Love from one of your fans.
