For the most part, I just found it to be a spectacle. He didn't sound very good. I didn't think that the kiss was inappropriate but I could have done without the hip-thrust into the male dancer's face. I found that to be tasteless(and would have found it to be equally tasteless had a straight performer done something similar). A kiss is a kiss. A simulated sex act is something else entirely.
I grew up with Madonna--80s/90s Madonna--nothing shocks me anymore.
Great performance...didn't find anything offensive whatsoever. I liked Adam though I preferred Alison last year but this perfomance and song brought him up a notch for me. Bravo Adam!

there would have been outrage if it was a female being shoved into his crotch.. it doesnt matter...if you go to an marilyn manson show you go of your own free will and should know what your getting. when you expect a nice show and this is thrown in your face it is wrong… also there are kids that look up to these people. "he was on american IDOL" this is who you want your kids looking up to… and for those of you saying just turn it off… as a parent you should be able to leave the room and not have to worry about things like this being slipped in… the kids are not going to turn it off… if you are gay or anybody and saying its ok to do this then that proves that you should not be a parent. if this is ok then it is ok for him to bring out a sheep and start pumping that... after all it is just "artistic freedom"... all the women who have did it have had it handed back to them... remember janet... also they had a career before they started doing stupid moves... there is a time and place for things.
the whole crotch thrusting was very much inappropriate and unnecessary..but its Adam Lambert..that's who he is and that's what he is known for..Get over it believe me when I say that your kids have seen and know alot more than you think they do and its not ABC's fault either.Here in America we tend to Overestimate a childs innocense and Underestimate their intelligence.
i was totally disgusted by his performance. abc should be ashamed of themselves for airing that on t.v. i don't care if he is gay...but seriously....i don't want to see anyone rubbing someone's head in their croch. totally inappropriate and tasteless. what a total waste! anyone who thinks his performance was o.k......has major issues!!
Disgusting, Inappropriate, Immoral, and some of the other performances were just as bad. What a shame that society and "music" has stooped so low. This type of "free expression" is infiltrating the minds of innocent children and I take offense to it!
