"American Idol" runner-up Adam Lambert has given an interview to Out magazine, part 1 of which is available now. He addresses collaborating with Lady Gaga, his blown-out-of-proportion crush on Kris Allen and dabbling with the ladies.Adam Lambert's debut albut, "For Your Entertainment," drops on Nov. 23 so he is ramping up for the release by making the press rounds. The first stop? Out magazine. Excerpts of the interview are below, you can read the whole piece on Out's website.
On Lady Gaga: "I saw those pictures in Out, the Halloween pictures. They were incredible! I'm so refreshed by her. I think she's finally taking risks. Like where are those people? You know what I mean? I'm inspired by it. I'm like, 'Yeah, f**k yeah. Let's take risks.'"
On Kris Allen and the "crush" comment: "Believe me, right after I said it, I was like... It turned into this thing, and I was like, 'Oh God, I shouldn't said that and now it's blown way out of proportion.' ... He's a really nice guy. One of the things that I think is so refreshing and cool about him is that he's from Arkansas -- and this is me being small-minded -- I just kinda figured that the acceptance of people like me in Arkansas is probably a lot lower than here. And he's very open-minded to people's lifestyles and he doesn't judge. He's a good guy."
On dabbling with girls: "I say I'm curious. There are gay guys that gag and go 'eww' at the thought of having sex with a girl. I'm curious about it, because I've never done it ... The point of the matter is that I would not rule it out. The idea is intriguing."

Adam lambert, the sweet, sexy,gutsy singer's CD sounds fantastic!!Can he ever be called a great singer instead of the openly gay guy? He is a whole person.Look at the whole person-poised,confident, intelligent, articulate, personable, honest, courageous, individualistic, friendly, outgoing,gay, thoughtful,appreciative,creative,self-motivated.
Adam's CD is really great. As much as I love the kid, I am a fan of his from AI, the theatre, and his singing videos Youtube. I kept an open mind about the electro-stuff mentioned since it's not my fave. But, happily, I totally love his album. I love love love it. I heard it streamed on MySpace yesterday and it blew me away with how great it is. Yea for Adam. !

Can't wait to see him perform on the American Music Awards tomorrow night. His album is great and any video of his performances is always phenomenal.
