Watch 'Twilight New Moon's 'Meet Me on the Equinox' video from Death Cab for Cutie
Death Cab for Cutie's video for "Meet Me on the Equinox" -- you know, the "Twilight: New Moon" theme song -- is online, and it's got a few new looks at the upcoming movie.
The song is built around the breakup between human Bella (Kristen Stewart) and her vampire boyfriend Edward (Robert Pattinson), not surprising considering Death Cab's relationship-heavy oeuvre. We get longer looks at the forest-set split and Bella's inability to cope.
Oddly enough, the video switches near the end to Bella's race to prevent Edward from killing himself. That means lots of scenes of Bella running (through streets full of red-robed figures, through a fountain, etc.) while Edward disrobes in slow-motion. Point to you, Team Edward!
