Forbes has published a list of the Top 10 female earners in prime-time television; Tyra Banks and Katherine Heigl top the list.With an estimated $30 million in earnings, it's not a surprise that Tyra Banks tops the Forbes' list. Between "America's Next Top Model," "Tyra," guest-starring on shows like "Gossip Girl," and working behind the cameras as a producer for a variety of shows, Ms. Banks is taking over the airwaves.
Coming in at #2 with $18 million is "Grey's Anatomy" star Katherine Heigl. This one is a little surprising, considering her rocky relationship with television, but between her show, endorsements and her ability to carry a film, Heigl has become an extremely wealthy woman.
Rounding out the list are #3 Marg Helgenberger at $9.5 million, #4 Eva Longoria Parker at $9 million, #5 Mariska Hargitay at $8.5 million, #6 (tie) Julia Louis-Dreyfuss and Maura Tierney at $8 million, #8 Tina Fey at $7 million, #9 Marcia Cross at $6.2 million and #10 (tie) Jennifer Love Hewitt and Ellen Pompeo at $6 million.

katherine giggle is so anoying. always complaing about the work hours, well she sure like the money. its liek get a clue miss thing, you arent the star of the show elen pompadero and dyln mcdermet are. its the writting that made you a star not the terrible love story movies you make. she thinks she is an actress. poor thing.
Not sure how Heigl's is surprising...she is the only woman on the list with a movie career and is the 5th highest paid movie actress in the world. The only surprise is she isn't top of the list.
Just to add Heigl was number 3 the previous year on $13 million, so again..it comes as no surprise.
Heigl is in the current issue of Guinness Book of World Records as the highest paid TV star for last year...so no surprise at all.
