'Twilight: New Moon's Taylor Lautner wants to keep his shirt on

"The Twilight Saga: New Moon" star Taylor Lautner put on something like 30 pounds of muscle for the movie, but now he's worried that's all fans will see.

Lautner told Showbiz Spy that despite all the work, he'd be happier covered up.

"I worked hard to get in shape for this role," Lautner told the site. "My motivation was the movie and the fans but I don't want to become known as just a body. If I had to choose, I would never take my shirt off again in a movie but I guess that's not very realistic. I certainly won't be asking to do it though."

Sorry, Taylor, the wolf's out of the bag now. We figure you'll wind up shirtless in the next few "Twilight" films, at the very least.

"New Moon" opens Nov. 20.

its like whatever... he is no meryl streep... so he needs to use his inshape bod and ok face to the max.

Fine by me! In fact, I'd rather he not... I think he looks unnatural and grossly overbuilt for someone his age. I applaud him for not wanting to become a seeming piece of "tweenage porn" for people.
