TV ratings: NFL games score for CBS and NBC Sunday
Fast National ratings for Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009A late-afternoon NFL game that spilled into primetime carried CBS to the top of the ratings on Sunday, at least for now, while NBC got lower-than-usual numbers for a lackluster matchup on "Sunday Night Football."

Why is CBS so boring. Sure maybe Three Rivers and Cold Case are weak spots on the current CBS lineup but otherwise the CSI's, NCIS's, Chrimnal Minds, and The Mentalists are doing well.
Three Rivers.....welcome to saturdays. http://tiny.cc/URJ1t
All the networks are down. CBS had increased its viewwership last year and all crime shows were hovering around 13-15 million viewers. This year except NCIS all other shows have gone back to the numbers year before that to 11-13 million viewers which is pretty decent but would seriously hope that the writers be more creative otherwise next year CBS would join ABC.
Tom go get a life besides CBS and stop fighting with a girl. LOSER!
Joey, insulting people is really not the way to go. :(
Cold Case did better last week; but was hampered by the Three Rivers overrun.
With the exception of the Cleveland Show and Family Guy, Sunday is either about old people (the ABC line up) or for old people (the CBS line up). DVR the Fox animated comedies and find a life off your couch on Sundays.
Cold Case isn't going porly because no one wants to watch it anymore it's doing poorly baecause football always runs at least 45 minutes late and no one knows when to tune in to watch Cold Case so viewers decrease.
18-49 isn't as important and as Neilson would have you believe. I'm sure you've noticed all the pharmaceuticals being advertised on television and baby boomers are not only numerous but they have alot of money to spend. The only thing against them as far as television executives are concerned is they aren't as easy to sell to as hormone motivated 18-49's but that doesn't mean they should give up. There must be some product out there that an over 49 year old would buy due to the influence of a television ad. I like '3 Rivers' alot better than 'Cold Case'. I think it's good counter programming to 'Desperate Housewives' which mostly appeals to Suburban women and is just a mite frivolous for my taste.
Bring Back CHUCK early and give it a full season....
