'Top Chef,' 'Californication' renewed for another season

Bravo and Showtime announced Monday that they're picking up "Top Chef" and "Californication," respectively, each for another season.

This will make the seventh season for Bravo's culinary competition series, which is hosted by Padma Lakshmi and is currently airing its "Las Vegas" edition on Wednesday nights. Casting calls for the upcoming season are as follows:

San Francisco - The Parlor
Sunday, Oct. 18, 10 a.m - 2 p.m.

Miami - Club 50 at Viceroy Miami
Sunday, Oct. 25, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Chicago - Wells on Wells
Monday, Oct. 26, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Washington D.C. - Occidental Grill & Seafood at Willard InterContinental Hotel
Wednesday, Nov. 4, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

New York - Craftsteak
Sunday, Nov. 8, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Dallas - Abacus
Wednesday, Nov. 11, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Los Angeles - Craft Restaurant
Sunday, Nov. 15, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

In other Bravo food news, "Chef Academy" will premiere on Nov. 16 at 11 p.m. ET/PT.

davidduchovny_californication_s3_290.jpgOver on Showtime, "Californifornication," starring David Duchovny as the randy and troubled writer Hank,  will return for its fourth season in 2010. The show just enjoyed record-breaking ratings for its third-season premiere on Sunday, Sept. 27.

Guest stars for the season include "Gossip Girl's" Ed Westwick, rock and soap star Rick Springfield, Embeth Davidtz and Eva Amurri.

Good point, too often utterly ignored.

Out of sight Substance, although I would be in possession to say that given the throng of views this has received it should be worth meditating about trying to revise the spelling and the english! Made a powerfully good read though, terrific matter.
