'The View': Heidi Montag holds it together, Spencer Pratt wants to get snipped

Spencer Pratt wants to get his stuff snipped.

You know, his "baby making" stuff.

This is probably the best "news" to come out of today's episode of "The View" during which Pratt's wife of four months, Ms. Heidi Montag, guest co-hosted.

Filling in for regular Elisabeth Hasselbeck -- who is still on her "maternity-leave-me-alone" -- as the panel's conservative blonde of the day, "The Hills" star refrained from making any "Speidi-like" headlines, staying relatively quiet, maintaining a good sense of humor and not saying anything dumb enough for us to make fun of.

Damn.

Even a bejeweled Spencer (see the clip below), who was in the audience and mic'd, only spoke when spoken to and stopped himself from spouting anything over-the-top disrespectful.

The reality TV couple did, however, touch on Spencer's reluctance to have even safe sex with his wife since he thinks she'll poke holes in the condom in an effort to get pregnant against his will.

But that's sort of old chatter at this point. You can peep it in this clip though if you feel so inclined...
