Twitter'So You Think You Can Dance': Brandon Dumlao replaces Billy Bell
Last week the Top 20 finalists were announced on FOX's "So You Think You Can Dance," and this week one of them is being replaced.Billy Bell, 19, has dropped out of the show due to an unspecified illness. In his place, 21-year-old Hip Hop dancer Brandon Dumlao will join the Top 20 and will compete Tuesday (Oct. 27) in the season's first performance show.
"We are disappointed that Billy cannot continue dancing in the competition on the advice of his doctor and wish him a speedy recovery," executive producer/judge Nigel Lythgoe says. "However, we are fortunate that Brandon Dumlao has agreed to return."

Sad to see him go! He is truly talented and hope he can get better soon from this illness. I'm glad Brandon is getting his shot now though. He was cut in the Top 38 last season and again this year. I hope he does well!

i feel bad for everyone who waste there time watching this show ( myself included ) ABC is such a bad network, so Desperate and ugly....
NO WAY! His solo to get into the top 20 was amazing! How disappointing.

Interesting that they replaced Billy - a comtemporary dancer - with Brandon, a hi-hop dancer.

I think this sucks he was amazing he would have won this year. I think he was just way to strong they had to get rid of him to make it fair.
