I see they're not billing this as the "final" season. Is there any word yet on whether on not this will be the last season?
The last season of 24 is the last season I'll watch. It has become so predictable it is boring.

FOX has not decided yet whether or not this is the final season. This is also the last year that Kiefer Sutherland is contracted to do the show. The producers do have a contingency plan should FOX decide to end this show. I believe they are filming episode 14 or 15 right now, so they still have a ways to go before they complete production.
Very excited for the new season of 24, and loved the trailer.
After how good Season 7 was, I have high hopes for Season 8.
