'Real Housewives of D.C.,' 'New Jersey' picked up
Bravo's "Real Housewives" franchise has infected Washington.The cable network announced Tuesday that it's picking up "The Real Housewives of D.C." and renewing "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" for a second season.
In the D.C. version, the franchise will focus on women who have influence in Washington culture, whether it's through political galas, fundraisers and other society events. Power will be at play here, and we're just hoping for a rousing filibuster about fashion or at least a dinner party where a table gets upended.
Speaking of ... Teresa Giudice, dinner party host extraordinaire, will be back with the other Jersey Girls for a second season in 2010.
"New Jersey's" first season was on of the highest-rated "Real Housewives" series in all demos, averaging 2.55 million total viewers.

I've watching the HW of ATL and I seem to remember only the half Asian woman earning her own money and the others marrying it/dating it and then using it do something of their own. The HW of OC have the realtor and the insurance rep making good money of their own. Seems the HW of NJ are the ones who mostly married the money with the one building a restaurant biz with her hubby. Each group has its tacky members for the sake of chatter amongst viewers.
NJ and Atlanta hw's suck. yeah it's more drama but watching criminals is far from entertaining for a lot of ppl. OC RULZZZ!!
oh except for OC hw GRETCH THE WRETCH she is gross and is kind of a criminal too, they should take her off the show.

I have seen all the housewives series and they are all entertaining. The bottom line is, most of the women of each series are caddy and talk about each other. It makes me appreciate my inner circle of friend better. You are supposed to be a united front of friends and talk about everyone else :-D
