New 'Avatar' trailer gives deeper glimpse into James Cameron's world

avatar_290.jpg
The new trailer of James Cameron's "Avatar" has finally been released online, and it is chock full of detail-y goodness.

Unlike the first trailer, released in late August, this go-round has more back story to go along with the pretty special-effects shots.

Peep for yourself -- this clip of the 3D flick set to hit theaters and IMAX 3D on Dec. 18, has the supporting cast lending a sense of urgency and seems very reminiscent of a futuristic "Apocalypto" with a twist. But that's just us. What do you think?

Awesome!!! This trailer is so much better then the teaser was!!!!

I don't like this trailer it seems like it is geared for the clueless who could not figure out that avatar is a scifi 'pocahontas' meets George Bush from the far more artistic and stylistic first trailer

In which the Anglos are both the good and the bad guys, and the indigenes are inhumanly pure and heroic.

The movie looks amazing!
It will be a hit, for sure!
Some people a comparing Avatar with Pocahontas, but they didn't see the movie, then how would they know...
I'm really excited!

Avatar looks really awesome, but I suspect that there will be at least a few bad one-liners since it's mainly an action flick
