I don't think even spellcheck can save that paragraph.
From one former NewsRadio member to another (ok LG was a consultant at WNYX), a rare smart move for NBC. The pilot was excellent.
Yep. Sad to lose Maura, but very excited to gain Lauren. T.V. isn't the same without her. And maybe Maura can guest star down the line. Fingers crossed that this show delivers!
Enough of dateline as well...called over-exposure. Bring Las Vegas back to Friday nights.
YES!
Helen Hunt would have been the better choice...really? Dax shepard? This show is soo going to fail without Maura or Helen
this is great! I am excited.
Hope Maura gets better soon :)
hmmmm.... I wasn't so hip to this show at first. It is a remake of an already failed series based on a 90's movie. You say "Parenthood" and I picture Ed Begly, Jr., 90's primary colors, and that vibrator in the drawer. Why not just call it something else? However, with L.G. now on board - I got to just push all those mental images aside. LOL
I never saw her on Gilmore Girls, so I can't comment on whether or not she was a good choice. But I'm VERY excited about Parenthood!!! I just hope NBC doesn't decide to pull a Southland with this show, too, in which case I'll dump NBC forever.
I watched that original Parenthood series - or at least I started too. Don't know what happened. Finally looked it up. Someone put it Thurs 10-11. And then later moved it to half an hour on Saturdays. Huh? I remember Ed Begley Jr and nothing else.
Hopefully this time they will get it right. Ron Howard is a trouper for trying it yet again.
Looking forward to LG. I've so far seen 3 seasons of Gilmore Girls. (later to the party than anyone)
