Kate Gosselin 'Today' show: Jon took $230K from joint account
Kate Gosselin appeared on "Today" Monday morning to discuss estranged husband Jon Gosselin's allegedly clearing out their joint bank account used to pay the family bills.Kate explained to Meredith Vieira that their bank account had previously contained $231,000, and that Jon had only left her $1,000. Since Kate had always been the one to pay the bills, this paltry amount caused her worry.
"I can't sleep at night. I can't pay my bills," she said, later adding, "I have to [demand he return the money] in order to keep the kids where they live and to put food on their table. I need that money to provide for them."
On top of this worry, Kate said that Jon's insistence to suspend filming on the newly named "Kate Plus 8" has also placed the family in financial straits since that was their source of income.
Kate insisted that the kids are not harmed by TLC filming their daily lives and that they were upset about production being shut down.
"I told the kids over the weekend that we weren't filming," she revealed. "And actually, times eight, there was wailing and sobbing. They love the crew, they love the interaction, they love the events. It is not harmful to them. They are angry."
Kate also expressed doubts that Jon thought up his latest "epiphany" himself.
"He has always been the one to listen to the one that is next to him," she said. ":I think he is receiving bad advice. I think he is making bad decisions."

RadarOnline reports that Kate Gosselin's lawyer filed papers Monday morning to get back the $230,000.

I don't believe half of what this Media Ho says. Another 24 hours and SHE would have cleaned out the bank account. I am sure Jon would never put the kids in harm's way. I think he's trying to protect them from Mommy Dearest!
You would think Jon and Kate where the President and First Lady as much media coverage those two get.

She's the blame for not taking him off the accounts, but also whats more than wrong is that he took the money out of the account knowing she has to pay for bills and also take care of the house, he must have been drunk when he did that because his ass is more of a stupid ass than ever before and now there is no way he's gonna win anything after doing this ...

If there was only two people involved in this divorce, Jon and Kate, then his actions can be overlooked. However, there is a house that is a home for his children and his children to consider. Look at all the magazines and he is driving expensive cars, going on expensive trips and living in an expensive city NYC. Where does he get the money. He has no job. So him stealing it is not that hard to imagine. He seems to be the type of person who easily falls prey to "friends" advice. He cannot think for himself or act in a mature adult manner.
I hope his kids see him for the rotten low life he is and his boys never ever look up to him as a role model. He is a pathetic excuse for a father and husband. That slut he is shacking up with can really hold her head up high and know she has herself a winner.
Shes just pissed because he got to the money before she did.
