Jorja Fox is sticking with 'CSI'
If you haven't had your fill of Jorja Fox's return to "CSI," you needn't worry -- she's not going anywhere soon.Fox, who initially signed on to reprise her character, Sara Sidle, for five episodes this season, will extend her time on the series for -- well, no one's sure exactly how long. CBS confirms that her run is now pretty much an open-ended commitment, and that it will definitely extend beyond those five episodes.
"The season is about bringing the family back together again, so [this] was just a natural," executive producer Carol Mendelsohn tells EW.com. "Jorja has been the glue that has really helped to reform the bond of our team."
Having Sara around more naturally leads to the question of whether Grissom (William Petersen) might also make a return appearance in Las Vegas. Petersen has an open invitation to revisit the character, but at the moment the show isn't planning for his return. Mendelsohn does say, though, that future episodes will explain Sara and Gil's long-distance relationship a little bit.
"Everyone on the team is a little interested," she tells EW. "They're like, 'What's the deal? Grissom's there, you're here, how does that work?'"

wish the audiance was interested in the show, with the rating dropping every week, she better look for another job.
Hey meow, I can't believe I'm saying this but I actually agree with you on this. I haven't tuned in to CSI once this season since it conflicts with Fringe. It just doesn't seem the same without Grissom and I prefer CSI Miami over this any day!!
I still love the show. I think Cathernine is doing a good job as the new boss, and the rest of the cast is doing what they do best. Sara is back, such a good thing. I will continue to watch until the end.
With the idiotic romance between Sidle and Grissom off the front-burner, I don't mind her being on the show (I never had anything against Jorja Fox to begin with, just her character) again. And so what if the ratings are slipping? The show's been on almost ten years, so it's to be expected.
They brought her back to raise ratings, apparently TPTB thought that it was Lauren Lee Smiths fault the ratings were down and not Lawrence Fishburn, but I think its just the fact that Grissom is gone plus they have more competition this season in the 18-49 category. I for one was happy she was gone for a while I always enjoyed Grissom but I could either take/leave Sara.
Yeah meow...winning the most competitive night in total viewers is a telltale sign that the actors will soon be out of work.
Glad Jorja staying on. As far as CSI a sinking ship, really? Hmmm 10th Season, more than 200 episodes, was in Top 5 of viewers last week. Let's see where GA and DH are in 10th season....Can you imagine if GA lost EP or McD?
MEOW is a total loser.
I always liked Sidle and Grissom separately. When they put them together, I really lost interest in the show. Lady Heather was so much better for Grissom. Lawrence Fishburn has been a nice addition to the show. Stories are always good, but the show seems somewhat fractured, what with all the characters changing, leaving, going here and there. It amazes me that the show held on as long as it did. Maybe if they stop trying to build the relationships with everyone on the show (creating all these love affairs) and pay more attention to the story line, it could possibly go back to the way it used to be with the great CSI that I used to watch.
Fox staying? Blecch! We need Grissom back!
