Jon Gosselin reportedly demands TLC pulls plug on 'Kate Plus 8'

Best thing that could happen. Kate can move on with her career without the kids. She can support them and not have to split her income with loser Jon. Hopefully he will be able to find some way to support himself so she won't have to pay alimony. Kate is probably thrilled.

Best thing would be if this caused the stupid show to finally be put to bed once and for all.

If not, then give Jon the kids and let that selfish Beyitch go do her talk show (which will be canceled faster than Oprah can clean off her dinner plate). She isn't fit to be a mother.

They both are idiots. Just cancel the show. TLC used to stand for 'THE LEARNING CHANNEL'. The only thing I am learning about is how fame and greed can corrupt a family and bring out the worst in people. Stop both Jon and Kate, for the children and all of our sanity.

Come on TLC...do the right thing...end this train wreck now. Have some integrity.

why didn't he do this in the first place? now it's just obviously a publicity issue. his gravy train is rolling without him and he's trying to stop it.

well. i hate to say this. but i hope this does effectively pave the way for kate to get her own show. hell she has the fan base, she's got to feed those kids somehow. for all her camera loving, she's at least be honest about her priorities and even if i disagree with her choices, she's not a see saw like her soon to be ex husband.

perhaps what jon should ask for in the settlement is some of kate's balls so he stops being such a wuss all the time. i had empathy for him but when he didn't do anything to assert himself other than spend money, drink and sleep around.

this will be a lovely conversation down the road "children, i did it for your well being." (not because daddy over extended himself financially and needed to make sure that he could still afford this lavish lifestyle that his sperm assisted in making possible, sperm and public statements does not a father make)

I just hope their kids grow up and are smart enough to call them both out on their crap when they are older.

Yeah, I agree. I think they've done enough with the show - destroyed their lives. TLC do the right thing and rip up the contracts!!

Jon, get a life - a REAL life, like a JOB!!

Kate, stop whining about being a 'single mom' - you're not. You're divorced. You just don't have a husband who lives with you! Get over it and stop parading those kids around to make a buck or two. Enough already.

He goes on tv in the middle of a divorce and tells the world that he despises the mother of his children and that he loves his new flavor of week more then he ever loved his wife. He goes to Vegas and all over partying and moves to NY rather then get a place in the same area as his kids.
Yeah these are actions of a dad who cares about his children. He is trying to stop this divorce from happening because he needs money and knows he is a loser and people are starting to get sick of him. Kate always had to tell him what to do because he lacks a brain. Which was evident in his actions since the seperation.
The show should be canceled and if it's not, taking Jon out is the next best thing. Man up, get a job and take care of those kids.

What we see in the tabloids is what someone wants us to see. No one really knows what exactly is going on but them and their friends and family.

From what I see, I see Jon being disrespectful to his family. It's a shame he had to flaunt his going-ons so badly. His children will one day see the tabloids.

As for Kate, I know as a mother you have to have rules and follow them. I also know that the more people there is, the harder it is to get everyone to follow the rules.

Maybe she is obsessive in how she goes about what she does but at least she cares to enforce rules.

As for the marriage. There is always a stronger spouse than the other. It is up to both of them to equally work together. Jon sat back and let her take over. He should have had balls to tell her how she felt. Kate joyfully walked all over Jon. It is called communication.

I think if they talked more about how each other felt they may have had a chance, maybe, maybe not???

To all those people who want to see this show canceled, do what I do: don't watch it.
