Jon and Kate Gosselin court battle: No settlement for now
The Gosselin money melee isn't over yet. After a visit to Pennsylvania court Tuesday morning, Jon and Kate Gosselin still have not settled allegations that Jon Boy had taken $230,000 from a shared bank account, according to celebrity news reports.
After lawyers met with with the judge in chambers for an hour, the judge basically told the estranged couple to work it out: compromise with the arbitrator, return money if it was improperly taken, keep it "private" and "amicable" and act in the best interests of the children. We could have told the Gosselins that!
Jon and Kate are due back in court on Oct. 26.

Jon has a short period of time to find a lot of money or he's in deep trouble. No matter how much money he will receive as a result of the divorce, the money he took was court protected and not to be touched by either parent for anything other than authorized family expenses. He should have been less greedy and waited for things to go through their proper channels. I guess he's not very bright?
People get with the program the Divorce Courts in PA are horrible. The judges don't want to hear anything and do not want to have trails. They say work it out well there is not working it out in a divorce. The court system and the lawyers are the ones who get all the money. JUDGES DON'T CARE. I wish 60 minutes or 20/20 would do an investigation on divorce lawyers and judges in PA. It is noted that Delaware count has the worst judges on hearing cases. They drag them out or years and tell the parties to work it out. THAT SYSTEM does NOT work. Money was taken and the courts should order it back in to the account. But no why because the Judges don't care and the lawyers get rich.
