Jodie Sweetin of 'Full House' used Just Say No to pay for drugs

jodiesweetin_290.jpgJodie Sweetin, who played little Stephanie Tanner on "Full House," is spilling all about her drug addiction.

In her memoir "unSweetined," 27-year-old former child star discusses how she used to take drugs at the same time she was a spokesperson for the Just Say No anti-drug campaign, reports RadarOnline.

"I thought for sure that one of the professors (during a speech at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin) would take one look at me and kick me out. But none did," she writes in the book. "They wanted to hear about the trials and tribulations of Jodie Sweetin, or at least the Jodie Sweetin I had created."

Sweetin had actually been sober for a little while, but relapsed and used the money she got from speaking for Just Say No to pay for her drug habit.

"I was back to partying like I was at my worst, spending seven hundred dollars a week on meth [and] coke," she writes.

"unSweetined" goes on sale on Nov. 3.

Although Sweetin is best known for her "Full House" career, she made a minor comeback as the host for the second season of Fuse TV's "Pants Off, Dance Off."

It's just like Saved by the Bell episode with Johnny Dakota.

great SBTB reference

Another punch in the face for Nancy Reagan's FAILed "Just Say No" campaign. The only social disaster bigger than this monumentally failed campaign is the colossally failed sexual abstinence campaign. These people never learn from their mistakes. History, people - its not just a course.

To Bob the Teacher: Oh please. "Just Say No" and "Abstinence Only" hardly qualify as "social disasters", much less "monumental" ones. Get a grip on your realities, sheesh. Next thing you'll tell us is the world's gonna end in 2012 because hey, Hollywood made a movie that said so.

Just so sad but hoping she's willing to right the wrongs and get her life back on track, now that she is a new mom.

What were the names of the drugs she used?

I just think it is so sad that everyone is so quick to judge her and what she spent her money on. It's very easy being in that seen to pick up those habits. Obviously she is trying to make amends and admitting her faults. Cut the girl a break she is only human. If you learn from your mistakes they shouldn't be considered mistakes they should be considered life lessons and I am sure we have all learned a life lesson or two ourselves. Maybe no to this magnitude but nobody is perfect. That is what is wrong with people today..... your too quick to judge someone by one thing they say or do. While I don't condone being under the influence while preaching about not doing drugs she just made a very poor decision.
