Jillian Michaels and NBC are 'Losing It'
"The Biggest Loser" trainer Jillian Michaels is striking out on her own in a new series where she'll try to whip families into shape.NBC has ordered eight episodes of a series called "Losing It with Jillian" that will take the pint-sized, intense wellness expert off the "Biggest Loser" ranch and into people's homes. Each episode will chronicle a week Michaels spends with a family, helping put them on the path to a healthy lifestyle. The show is scheduled to premiere sometime next year.
"When your health is out of balance everything else suffers -- finances, relationships, work and family dynamics," Michaels says. "I'm moving in with families across the country, getting down and dirty and rooting out bad habits in every corner of their lives that are preventing them from health and happiness."
Chef Curtis Stone (TLC's "Take Home Chef") will help Michaels out in those efforts by tossing out junk food and teaching the families how to cook and use healthy ingredients.
"Losing It with Jillian" comes from Reveille, which also produces "The Biggest Loser." Michaels is an executive producer, along with Giancarlo Chersich, Ellen Rakieten ("The Oprah Winfrey Show") and Reveille's Howard T. Owens and Mark Koops. A premiere date hasn't been set, but a spring or summer run seems likely.

great, a spinoff of an already annoying show = a doubley-annoying show!!
Typical NBC crap.
instead of going to a fat camp to get yelled at, you get yelled at in the comfort of your own home.
NBC is failing.
This won't help.
Maybe they can make a new show after this about what happens to the people once everyone stops filming and they have to go back to their real life and do it without cameras. Thats reality.
Great, so NBC cancels great scripted shows for more reality programming.
Thanks, Jay Leno, for pushing NBC over the already precarious edge they were on.
Whatever, guys - I am so psyched for this show. I freaking love Jillian Michaels and TBL.
Ok, to all the synics out there. How would you know that The BL is annoying, waite you would have to watch it, I mean really watch it. Or is it that the truth hurts. Jillian and Bob are awesome, they don't take ****, while making a difference. Yes, because it's TV, I will agree there's some drama created for effect, but a smart person can look past it and really see someing great going around that wakes people up. But how would you know, because it's annoying, you hate it blah blah. The Show Kicks my ***, and I'm Slim.
I can't wait she is my favoriate trainer. Kim was boring. Love bob but he was too soft sometimes.
Can't wait for this show, Jillian's awesome! I'm fit as hell, but BL and Jillian in particular never stops inspiring me.
