'Glee' cast to sing the national anthem at the World Series
On the heels of NBC canceling "Glee"'s planned cast performance during the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade comes better news for FOX's musical dramedy. The network confirms that the multi-talented cast will sing the national anthem on Oct. 31st for Game 3 of the World Series.
Depending on which team wins the current National League championship series -- the Dodgers & Phillies are currently tied at 1-1 -- that game will take place in either Los Angeles or Philadelphia.
Will you watch on Halloween Day, even if you're not a baseball fan, just to see the "Glee" club do their thing?

Absolutely, and I'll record it too for re-watching purposes. I only wish the Glee cast's version of the national anthem would also be on iTunes. Yep, total Gleek here!
I'm almost ashamed to admit it, but I would watch the beginning of the game to see the GLEE cast sing the National Anthem. Not sure how they're gonna pull it off without all the auto-tune correction that they normally use, though. I guess they can auto-tune a live performance...
Excellent. The cast of Glee is very talented. I'm sure they will do a great job.
Why does everyone accuse every artist of using autotune? Unless you're in the studio, you really have no grounds for your claim.
Furthermore, I hate baseball. So boring. But I will watch the Glee cast sing The National Anthem. I am also a total Gleek.
@JettaJameson: You can HEAR auto-tune quite easily in a vocal performance, if you have any sense of what a real vocal performance actually sounds like.
The GLEE performances are almost all auto-tuned in places. Corey Monteith's vocals are so auto-tuned as to not even sound human at times.
Oh, and I do have a degree in audio production/recording studio technique from a major university, so I do know what I'm talking about.
I never enjoyed a tv show as much as Im enjoying GLEE!!!

Sorry, JettaJameson but I am with david on this one. That's probably the only thing that bugs me about Glee. At some specific points, it's very noticeable that they do use auto-tune. Look for the "cher believe" effect in some long notes. If I want to enjoy explicit auto-tuning, I'll go to Youtube and search for "Auto-tune the news". Seriously you guys, if you haven't yet, do it now. You just have to hear it. You will thank me later...
