A.J. Jewell, former fiance of Kandi Burruss from 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' dies
The former fiance of Kandi Burruss, a cast member on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," was killed Friday evening at an Atlanta strip club, according to ABC affiliate, WSB TV in Atlanta.
Ashley "A.J." Jewell, who appeared regularly on the show, died from a head injury sustained in a brawl at the Body Tap club, according to authorities.
A motive behind the fight has yet to be determined, but police are investigating.
Burruss, an award-winning singer-songwriter and former member of the '90s R&B group Xscape, has had numerous disagreements with her mother on the show regarding her relationship with Jewell. The couple was engaged during the filming of the Bravo series, but have since split.
