Eric Braeden staying with 'Y&R,' 'Jeff Dunham' sets Comedy Central record

Long-time "Young & the Restless" star Eric Braeden will remain with the show even longer after working out a contract dispute with the show's producer.Braeden, who chose to leave the show a few weeks ago rather than accept a pay cut from producer Sony Pictures TV, has had a change of heart and will return to the CBS soap, The Wrap reports. His last episode was set for Nov. 2; there's no word yet on how his character, Victor Newman, will be re-integrated into the show's story.
Sony had asked the cast and crew of "The Young & the Restless" to take pay cuts earlier this fall. Rather than reduce his salary from about $1.5 million a year to $1 million, Braeden, who's been with the show since 1980, opted to leave. Details on his new deal weren't available.

"The Jeff Dunham Show," starring comedian-ventriloquist Dunham and his array of puppets, drew 5.3 million viewers for its series premiere. It was the biggest series premiere in Comedy Central history in viewers and adults 18-49 (2.6 rating). The show was the most-watched program on cable Thursday night and also led among the male viewers the channel targets.
Encore airings of the premiere later in the night pushed the cumulative viewer count to 7.9 million.

I just hope that we don't have to go through this again with Mr. Bergman. Victor without Jack Abbott doesn't compute.

I Love the Young and the Restless, but I don't feel sorry for any of those people taking pay cuts. Wow Eric Braedon taking a Paycut to $1 million a year, I hardly feel sorry for him. Should be great full for a job in the first place. $1mill would go a long way with me, and I am not going to even tell you what I make!!
